JCW

With most of these you will have to use wheel spacers,

Only one place you need to call...

TCE. They are vendors here. Todd will tread you right.

FWIW, Detroit tuned has a kit that fits under the S-Lites as well. Some of the others don't (like stoptech, brembo....).

On the tech side...

the JCW brakes are still floating caliper single piston. Relative to the fixed caliper offerings, this is a "lower performance" design, and because the JCW doesn't use aluminum for the calipers, are pretty heavy. But if you do get them, you get the happy co-existance with all things Mini, no hassles from crappy dealers, and you can join Team Craptastic!

Still thinking about it. My brake warning/sensor light came on over the weekend. Since I need to change pads out anyway and maybe rotors I was thinking about just upgrading. I'm having a local shop check pads and rotors for me. If i need to replace them all I'll probably just get a BBK, if not I may just hold off till it gets warm out.

It looks like I leaning towards Detroit tuned, JCW, or Wilwood/TCE when I make the purchase. I don't need anything to over the top. Just a few track days a year and a lot of spirited driving.

Thanks for the info.

Well, I had to back out of the BBK option today until a later date. Took the car to the shop to see what had to be done and I needed new rotors and pads all the way around, ouch. So, once again I am left with an empty feeling. Oh, wait that's my pocket. But I guess I did get one upgrade. I went with EBC Greens. So that should hold me for a while.

Thanks for all the help guys.
