Drivetrain Alta Air Intake Hose on JCW Box?

Alta Air Intake Hose on JCW Box?
I want to dress up my engine bay a bit and am curious as to whether or not the Alta air intake hose will 1) fit my JCW box and 2) reach the throttle body from the JCW box.

Has anyone tried this?

Alta intake on JCW
I installed on my 05 jcw mcs - the Alta intake hose fits fine - the length is almost exact. The diameter is a little bigger but fits tight with supplied clamps.

I did it over two years ago, and it's been working perfectly. You cannot use the original stock clamps, however.
