I know what you meant.... your too kind.....

I was just in the right place to meet some very productive/creative guys..... it helped that my car was modified quite a bit and made a pretty good test bed but really just luck

( 1/13/07 8:18 am........I just got a PM from "dmh" questioning my comment on "creative/productive" and to clarify....this comment was meant to include more people than Dave and Juston.... I am thinking of Sid Chang (MSFITOY), Tuls, Peter (M7), Joseph Alphonso (RSpeed), Matt, onasled, Ryan, Will, Waylan, Randy etc...... there is a slew of people that I have met that have influenced me and helped my car get to where it is....wherever that is...... the "thank you" was a broad comment on my contributions and the comment was meant to be broad as well. To be fair to Don... he has a problem with the header looking like the Saclam..... well, it does but only as far as the use of two flex joints..... Juston's bends are very different)

as far as the size.....right now that is proprietary and maybe not set depending on the dyno next week.......

Any news on this header? Did you get it on the dyno? Pricing estimates? Time to market?

I think you have to remember this is a one off header right now for a M62. It's still being tested and Bob was in Ca. for the week.

cloning knows no bounds It would only be ironic if it sells for less than the saclam .

I believe SpiderX said it would be about the price of the Milltek about $1000.00. Which would be more than half the price of the Saclam imported to the USA.

It's not a direct replica of the Saclam, only the primaries look similar. Looking forward to more news as it becomes released..

I believe the design that we've seen pics of is for the M62. I thought Bob said they were working on a 4-1 for non M62 cars. Time will tell.

Thanks for the update Bob. Do you know if tests are going to be done on the headers for cars without a M62 installed for HP gains?

Thanks.....you can just Paypal if you like

re the testing of headers....

yes it will happen at some time but I don't know when.... all this stuff takes lots of time and money...... and guys like Peter and Dave have to keep cash coming in from other projects.....

I spoke with Dave tonight and for my car we will stick with the 4X2X1...

He likes the 4X1 but it is better for peak power/high rpm applications.... that is not how i drive my car so we are going for mid range punch.....

MINIBLU is headed home....

Spoke with Dave at DDM late Monday afternoon. Provided the weather holds, MINIBLU will return to Columbia on Thursday. Now Sat due to bad weather.

MINIBLU will have the M62 and DDM CAI. Dave used my car to test both the 4-2-1 and 4-1 headers. It looks as though MB will come home with the stock header.

I will do butt dyno testing on Friday and Saturday.

I really want to say thanks to Dave at DDM, Whalen, and Will as developers of new products. Thanks to Bob and Dane for having their cars upgraded prior to mine.....
