JCW CAI filter change

Are there any threads out there showing DIY for the JCW CAI filter change--showing how to detach the top section from the back of the bottom assembly? Thanks.

Remove the top hose, look around for info on how to remove the factory calmp. Pop off the battery connector. lossen the 2 torx screws. Lift slighty and this is where I can't recall, you ether slide the cover back or forward to unhook the ears in the back.

This is how to remove the flap, but it's the same process, just don't remove your flap! Unless you want to, that is.

Well I followed the instructions posted by the fine Mini owners who responded and the assistance from www.jwardell.com. It took about 15 minutes of actual work and about 15 minutes just analyzing the whole set up. The only part that may cause first time angst is removing the clasp from the electrical connection. I placed the blade of a slim long handled flat screw drive underneath the clasp on the left side and pryed it out just enough to grab it with a needle nose pliers-took the screw driver and pryed off the right side and the clasp came off with no problem. Upon reinstalling the clasp on the switch, place the clasp first on the switch then snap it on the receptacle. After 3400 miles the filter was very clean-but I vacuumed it along with airbox. No problems. Thanks again for your help.
