I hope Randy doesn't mind me reposting this from another thread, but this shows the difference the Superchips mod makes:

It's a little tougher to see since mine is split between two charts, but here is the difference the MTH chip made with the stock pulley and the 15% pulley:

Has anyone else dyno'ed the difference just a chip makes (I am deliberately omitting those dynos performed at the facility who developed the chip, on the spot)?

It's not perfect, but maybe this will help.

Andy,

I though we agreed that you cannot compare a dynoJet dynosheet to a Mustang dyno sheet. Apples and Oranges. Simply not a fair compairson.

Who is comparing a dynojet to a mustang? You should take the time to read and comprehend before posting.

Assuming I understand them correctly, the graphs show that the chip adds 12 to 15 lbs.ft of torque of most of the range. Since the "base" (without the chip) and the "test" (with the chip) were done the same day on the same dyno, the results should be valid. I believe this level of improvement is significant, especially if you race or autox.

I think you are looking at the wrong graphs.

No, no, no. Thew chip made an increase of FOUR torque and HP over the stock chip.

Ok. It seems that my assumption that I was understanding the graphs was wrong. So, for both Mustang Dyno graphs, the "base" is without the pulley and the "test" is with the pulley. The graphs marked 11:36am are without the chip and those marked 11:23am are with the chip. If this is true, then the maximum gains, at the wheels, are 4.5 lbs.ft of torque and 4.6hp.

Also, Trippy's oscillating graph is switching between the with chip and without chip graphs. Nice work Trippy.
