Drivetrain Hood Vents-part 3
I dont think there has been any data to show any true performance improvement, but intuitively it makes sense that it might help.
Some of these scoops sure look good

I showed the vents to my paint guy today, I think we decided they will be DS, and I might use a little black vinyl to blend them.

TwOMINIs is right. I don't know how the under hood temps are in a MC, but in a MCS, it can get pretty warm. The vents give the hot air a place to escape.
Thanks. The OE scoop will be coming out soon, and my M7 scoop will be going in. It will be black with a DS stripe in the middle to match the hood.

First, my Tiburon shift boot...now your Tiburon side vents...makes me wonder what else we can use from this car?

DS seems to have won the vote. We'll see about blending after they are painted.

I got it, Bart.
I dropped my camera on the concrete steps at my sister's house Halloween night after taking pics of my 5 year old Ninja Turtle, I'm looking for a replacement.
Pics will be coming soon.

Give the guy a break...it's difficult to choose a new digital camera these days, with so many choices from point-and-shoots to massive DSLRs with humungous lenses! Still, I'd like to see some better photos, like from head on (to compare with the other 2 protos) and from 1/4 side.
cheers,
cheers,

and its easy to buy a camera - give it no thought by next month it will be outdated.
Of course a drop proof model might be something to consider.

I blame it all on my wife, I was going to take the pics INSIDE in the kitchen, BUT, my wife says, "Why don't you do it right out on the steps?" Great idea.

I can, but I got a little happy with the Dremel last night on the passenger side vent, while cleaning up the holes.
Good thing the vents I used leave a lot of room for error.
