I've been told by a very reliable source that the system is in production and will be available in a week or two.

I would say that the most reliable source of info on the UUC will come from:
RandyBMC if and when he gets the UUC in his shop
He will post data, HP, weights, performance, dyno numbers and price as soon as he can.
There is a lot of interest in it. Nobody really knows what the true numbers will be yet.
There have been lots of production troubles and the product has been held back week after week since about mid March 2003. That's a long time, but I would rather they hold it and improve the quality than to release it and have to do major fixes along the way.

i hv been interested in the uuc exhaust since jan and i emailed them 4 months ago and they send me back 1 email saying "2 more weeks" and then i never rec'd any progress on this item.....what kinda answer is that???....no progress, no delivery date & no suggested retail price, no estimated power figure after more than 4 months of development???? (at least 4 months)

alot of companies develop more than 50 items at the same time and i do understand that alot of testings need to be done but you can't just IGNORE customers enquiries.

i'm not saying that their products are crappy but this kinda attitude really pushes customers away.......i've been in the manufacturing business for 8 years and if i deal with my customer like UUC, i'd hv got fired long long time ago.....really don't know how they can still survive is the sales business.

i guess it's really difficult for them to get back to some potential buyers with some simple answers.

On many levels i agree with SMG: I don't like the way UUC has taken care of this. Back in the fall there were spy shots posted and on August 9th over on M2, they said it would be comming out very soon. http://mini2.com/forum/showthread.ph...ht=uuc+exhaust

I understand product delays and even not releasing products until now (look at Dinan--they're getting into the game rather late), but don't tell people that it'll be out in a matter of weeks, and keep postponing the release. Nobody gives Dinan a bunch of flak because they never said they'd release products "very soon," post spy shots, videos, etc...
