Whoever took the time to write this article has a good handle on how Horsepower numbers can appear good bad or otherwise. This might clear up some misunderstanding on how numbers can appear so skewed when we dyno.

He did not specifically address however the power we loose to our Intercoolers not being fed air, that alone will cause us to show less power on a dyno than we should.

Nice article, thank you very much for posting.

The interesting thing to me is the SAE corrections that gets applied to a particular dyno run. Does that mean that if I go back to the same dyno on a different day after installing different mods, as long as I'm comparing the SAE corrected figures I should (at least to some degree of closeness) be able to compare deltas with some degree of accuracy? (I'm deriving this from the F-body example used in the article)

You should be able to provided that the dyno operator is entering the current conditions properly.

Repeatability is the ticket.
