My Fireballed head and cam kit should be done Thursday and I have a feeling in less than a year from now I will be adding a turbo. Can I keep the cam set up with a turbo? Who knew I would love this car this much. I have 8K in mods and I just made my first payment today, 59 to go. LOL

Which twincharging kit are you considering? Regardless, it all comes down to the tuning. You'll need a programable ecu add-on and access to a dyno plus somebody who really knows what they're doing. Needless to say, the potential for disaster is there if it's done incorrectly.

 

Don't the Fireballed guys have a t/c setup for sale? I think you can probably get an accurate answer when you're with them.

Mario, you're a fun guy to watch - you have no fear when it comes to mods, and you're always looking ahead to the next one! Keep it up!

 

LOL, It's funny because this car was to be a daily driver for work and no mods what so ever. My E55 would be for the weekend only. Now I only drive the Mini and I love it, and the Benz is collecting dust in the driveway. I'm sure I need to slow down on the mods because it is getting out of hand. I will ask the guys and Fireballed when I pick up the car this week abou the turbo, I'm sure when I go turbo I will go with their kit. It sure is much easier to buy things with a girlfriend instead of a wife.

 

We have done three Helix Turbo Kompressor kits with heads and the Schrick or other cam. It needs to be tuned, but it certainly works.
