apexi turbo timer install help.
can anyone help me out installing this in my car....i tried reading the instruction but it is only saying vehicel specific harrness. And it has no universal wiring instructions and i am a little lost with what wires go to what...please help.
i have the alta kit...but most turbo's with water and oil lines can be ran without the water line....i actually melted one of the Hoses. so decided to go with out the water lines going into the turbo there fore needed a turbo timer. so i need to know which wires to hook to what on this turbo timer.

You probably melted a hose because you didn't properly thermally sheild it from the turbine or exhaust, not from fluid temps.
You probably don't need a turbo timer unless you have a habit of running WOT for a while and then immediately shutting down.

It may be easier(and in the end cheaper) to sell the timer and reinstall the coolant lines with some heat rap material. If that is not enough, route the lines differently. Do you have a picture of the install? Maybe I can offer some suggestions.

The 2 water line bango going into the turbo housing can be lenghten to keep the hoses away from the heat source. Let me know if you need photo and I can e-mail it to you.Brian, any idea to keep the filler tank from being too hot? What is the best way to get all the air bubble out? Thanks.

Are you talking about the reservoir tank? The coolant will get hot no matter what, but not hot enough to cause problems. Make sure you use a high quality coolant/water mixture(a bottle of Redline Water Wetter added into the system should be enough). You can bleed out the air if you have accumulated some through the screw type bleeder in front of the intake manifold once the engine is up to temp.

I did all that already. I just fishing for new tricks if any
yes true it may be cheaper and all...but i rather not hook up the water lines again....didnt like it to begin with when installing the system. just more clutter...anyways can anyone tell me how to throw this thing in.
So is it possible to install a Turbo timer? I mean with all the immobiliser and all... would the turbo timer work? Irregardless of whether it's needed or not, of course.
Has anyone manage to install one?

I remember vaguely when I attempted to install a remote start. You can make the car run without the key once the car is started. You just have to make sure all that when you turn the key off the output wires from the ignition switch recieve constant power. I don't have a wirring diagram. But if you know what you are doing you should be able to use a multi meter and do a little testing.
