PaloUberMINI Exhaust

I really like the look of the dual exhaust on the PaloUber system and I want to get my dad an exhaust for christmas this year... But are there better-looking alternatives to the twin-pipe look (I don't really like the small tips they use, they look almost ike the stock Cooper tips)? Or are there other tips that you can put on the PaloUber system? Also, I would like to hear from someone with the exhaust. Is there a sound clip floating around anywhere? Another huge deal is highway noise - we take the MINI on a lot of road trips, so a droning exhaust would be a nightmare. I really want to make the right choice - that is, I don't want to deal with the grief of a big, expensive mistake.

Somebody on this thread https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=76142
mentioned that the Palo Uber is not a Catback system, just in case. I personally don't know, though.

You can also look at the Blue Flame here, which is also dual and is a Cat back. Haven't heard it personally.

Good luck, they do look nice!

The PaloUber is an axle-back???

Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I will reconsider. The Blue Flame looks pretty cool, but are there any other tips for it? They look kinda iffy. Definitely want to try the dual tip exhaust though, it just looks so unique. I am looking forward to this (supposedly) next mod! We don't have the stuff in our garage to put ti in, so we may need to have helix do it...

And, with this newfound exhaust, I pose the same questions. Do they drone on the highway and can I get a sound clip/recommendation from someone who has one?

Thanks for the replies so far!
