Oh I know. I just can't wait :impatient

I'm looking forward to the new exhausts hitting the market, and I've got cash that's burning a hole in my pocket right now. I look forward to the day that you disclose the price. Just curious, if I were to order the system say next week, are the valances ready to be sold as well, or would I have to run no valance/hack mine up to make it work?

You do not have to hack any thing up; just unsnap it. It's just decorative and acts as an air brake. With the Stahl exhaust it looks good with it!
I'm working on valances again next week. But they will be an option and not part of the kit.

I understand the valances not being a part of the kit, I would probably end up purchasing one as I like the look that the PaloUber kit has (I'm assuming yours would look similar).

Free Stahl exhaust install and dyno test

I am still searching for the right car to meet me in eastern PA.
It has to be a 2004+ because of the exhaust hanger relocation.
I'd like one with a 15% pulley or someone who wants one.
I'd like one to have MTH software but that is not required.
Please contact me if you are interested.
More 2002 and 2003 Stage 2s will be available on Tuesday.

I'd be up to offer you my '03 if you're giving the same offer to those...

Not quite yet. The guys were off yesterday. Hang in there, they are coming.

Any 2004+ want a free install and dyno test?

As in you have pricing and they are ready to be sold, or you know the 02's-03's will work out fine

...as in the '02-'03s work out fine -- they are already on a few track cars. Before I release the rest of them I was hoping somebody local with a '04+ would like to have one installed for free and a complimentary dyno run performed. If I don't get one by Friday I'll start the selling process to the public. Thank you for all the interest.

I'm speaking with Don to get the system on my car (probably with header and all) as per his free dyno/install offer above.

My car is bone stock (jcw intake) 05 mcs. We will have a dyno before and after the system if I go through with it.

I'm going to go listen to the system before I decide anything - I'd like a quiet product, but if it sounds right, then I'll go for it. If I need to, I can use the street mufflers.

I'll keep you all posted as to whether or not this happens, and if it does what my impressions are (and the dyno graphs).

I gave him a call earlier this week, and I must say, over the phone, I couldn't hear the system until he rev'd the motor (he was driving at the time)...

Has he disclosed a price yet? I want to jump on the bandwagon, but it all depends on price...

I have an 06 with a 15% in the NJ area. Depending on what the price is I would be interested in giving up my car. Also have an intake and colder JCW plugs. I would be interested in the more street oriented version.

I'm meeting Don on sat. to take a look at the system in person, hear it, and decide if it's something I want on my car. He's still unsure about pricing, but I can't imagine it would be astronomically more or less than all of the other systems that are available to us.

Regardless of whether you decide to take the plunge personally, please report back on how does the Stahl Header & Cat-back sound relative to the stock exhaust. I am really on the fence about the various aftermarket exhaust systems. I do not want something that is going to be noticeably louder than the stock or JCW system.

Will do. Don said that the "street" mufflers would be quieter but they would also cut down the power on the system. There might be interchangability between street and race mufflers, but I'm not positive about this; you'd have to ask Don (I will on sat.). The cat can be removed for track use.

I am not going to buy a system that sounds too loud or obnoxious, throws a code, or is not street emissions legal. I think if it meets my approval, it'll meet yours. Stay tuned.

BTW - I'm looking to install the whole system, but I'm not sure if his car has the header on, too.

mb

edit - The systems I've heard in person that I will compare it to are: stock 05, JCW, Milltek.

You'll be seeing the entire system. It does not throw any codes and has a cat.

Headers are all done -- have been for a while.
I'm just waiting on the cat backs to be completed. I really want to fit one to a car with the revised hangers. But it looks like I'll release the 2002-03 and then just wait or have the customer modify the hanger (it's not hard to do).
For all those not understanding what a Stahl system is all about, mbcoops can report back after he sees it.

Sure. But this system is not about looks but rather performance. (That is most likely the reason the first run of Stage 2s sold out—no one else is making a serious performance header.) If the end user needs fancy tips they could have some installed. It's doable; but just something I'm don't do.
