you've got to give these guys some specifics .they maybe can help if you do. how many miles? what mods? what's been done just prior to the change. is the car serviced regularly? have you gotten a check engine soon light? if yes you can go to an auto zone for a free scan of code. write them down and report them here . guys could then try to be of help.

Peace,
The first thing that comes up is a bad bypass valve. At that RPM is when the supercharger is kicking in. If the valve is stuck, you lose lots of power. Check the rubber boots 1st to make sure they are not losing air. Sometimes it happens happens with any lights coming on. Do you have lights on. Can you check for OBD code?

Could it be that you lost performance from removing the header and cat-back?

I'd start with the simple stuff...

1. Airfilter: Clogged? Dirty? airbox not secured?
2. Air intake hoses look ok?
3. Intercooler looks ok (assuming S)
4. Spark Plugs clean? Gapped correctly?
5. Fresh tank of gas from a quality station?
6. ??? What else is a good thing to look at?
