I'm assuming that it's safe to reset the ECU and that the flash won't be erased. Am I off base here?

You are absolutely correct, you just can't have the dealer reflash the ECU.

Thanks Randy. I'm not sure that the reset really does anything, but it's a suggested last step in the Detriot Tuned bypass instructions.

I broke the plastic tab on the intake tube, so it's been a while getting a new tube and doing the extra work to get the car back together. I'm hoping to finish up tonight after dinner and get my baby back on the road.
