Need Help with warped SC

Short Story - driving along, yellow and red lights inside the car come on, the engine loses all power ----discover the belt for the pulley (Alta 15%) has sheared off. (they tried to put on a new belt but it was immediately sheared off as well) Tech at dealer says the tech at the dealer that installed the pulley installed it wrong and that the result of all this is a destroyed pulley and a warped supercharger shaft. Only 3k miles on the belt and new pulley.
A. Does anyone know if the pulley can effect the shaft of the SC? B. Who should pay for a new SC? Me? I think the dealer that installed the part is liable, but they say no.

Ok...

it varies all over the place. Typically people only warranty the part they sell. If it's faulty and causes further harm, (consiquential damages) they try to hide from liability. If the part was fine and the install was screwed up and created the damage, then they SHOULD cover what they did wrong and what they broke, but it's a pain to prove it.....

So there is a very large chance that you'll be lost in a limbo of pointing fingers.... But if the shaft is screwed up (and that can be done by trying to get the stock pulley off without proper tools), then you're out a SC for sure, and you should start looking for cores on eBay....

Check eBay's UK website...

It sucks that your supercharger is gone, but the good news is that eBay.co.uk has some supercharger that sell for a lot cheaper than the dealer...
