NGK iridium part number?

what ngk plug number to get? i here people using BKR7EIX-11 but on the ngk website they list ZFR6FIX-11 for the mini, are these the same, or whats going on here?

It depends if you are running stock plugs or 1 or 2 steps colder (due to pulley upgrade, for instance). Check posts 93 & 94 of this thread for cross reference of plugs.

both work.
According to NGK the newer part number supersedes the older BKR part number.

Gap is the same, reach is the same but I think tip(electrode) specs are different.

so do you think it is better going with the new ZFR or the older BKR? both on ebay for $24

Shouldn't matter but there are a lot more people that have reported running the old part number.
That'd be the safe bet IMO.

The NGK site lists the BKR7EIX-11 for the Cooper and the ZFR6FIX-11 for the Cooper S.
Same price, but .032 gap on BKR7EIX-11, and .045 gap on ZFR6FIX-11.

That's a bit odd. The -11 in the part number indicates the gap as delivered which is 1.1mm or .043"
