im trying to install my alta CAI, and im trying to remove my ECU plugs, these things wont budge, the tabs are out and everything, and i cant figure out why they wont move

how do you suggest i get them out, i already have the stock intake tube, etc. out, and id really hate to have to place it back in

If the slider attachments are pulled out the ecu plugs will come off. the first time you do it is a hassle. Especially the back one.

i dont see any way that the ecu can be damaged if you install the cai with disconnecting.

When you pull the tabs back they should raise the plugs out of their sockets.
Did this happen?

wel i got one out, actually the back one closer ot the firwall but the other one just is not budging, in fact ive been pulling so hard i just snapped its pull tab out of its alignment

fo you think having one out is good enough to not cause damage or whatever the risk is to the ecu, or is it all or nothing

well for anybody who cares i gfinally got both of them out, though now hands and back are somewhat wrecked, sadly within 5 minuites after getting them out it began to rain, so im on break now and my car (now with a car cover over its front end, i just did it b/c since she has no form of an intake, i figured itd be better to keep the elements out and the cover should do that) and i are waiting to finish up
