Official M62 interest list

Finally back home from Nashville.....

Nothing is better then meeting with good friends, talking MINI, eating
Fantastic food and finish a great bottle of pinot. Bob, Dave and my own
Will is all you can ask for, in a development team thank you .

I finally got to feel the immense torque of the M62 ....wow it feels more like a
V6 but with more urgency, but as Bob said this baby has some small tuning upgrades and an exhaust (cat) issue that needs to be attended to.

As I was standing by the car in the park, one of my customers, John Monk
of MINI of Nashville, checked out the engine compartment. I walked up to him and said "can you tell me what we have done to the car"?

Honestly he could not tell me no matter how hard he tried, think about
That my dear California MINI owners, no harassment from CHP or the inevitable smog check in the future. As Bob mentioned we are now officially Starting this thread to measure interest and answer M62
specific questions.

M7 will now officially take pre-orders (pricing will follow shortly) allowing you the customer a guaranteed spot for early M62 delivery. We will have many options to offer.
Fuel injectors, multiple sizes of pulleys to match you power needs and tune,
Software programs with customizable RPM ranges up to 8000rpm and some other surprises in the very near future.

Feel free to call our office any time at 562-608-8123 or if you like to speak to me directly call me at 562-712-3270

Yours truly

Peter

Sure, I'll make it official... I'm more than interested! It's one thing to have a hot product, and still yet another to have the likes of M7 providing the support!

Look forward to hearing about the various options, including future ones... I've been under the impression that this is a relatively easy install taking a couple or so hours and no special skills or tools. Would love to get some confirmation on that...

Thanks Peter.

Hey Tony.....

I will have Dave at DDM explain the install how to, but looking at the
system I can promise, that you can install the system in a day or less
depending on your skills. This will be a do it your self project, if you feel so inclined.

Kyle, you might be the first or second MCS owner to have it in Hawaii. Between you and one of my loyal M7 customer, lets see who can save up first

Well, my wife is going to shoot me but I'm interested as well Peter.

Based upon our previous conversations I understand we are talking about $3k, or slightly more, but less than $4K? Particularly wit the extra injectors, mapping, and perhaps even newer style VGS as well?

I'm also guessing that the DFIC will fit and operate as well.

definatly interested, but with two concerns..

price of course.

and impact on an older engine.
02 MCS with 133K kms on it. Any worries throwing this on a slightly higher km car?

only other question is gains? On a stock MCS what kinda power to the wheels can one expect?
