Regarding Cosworth Stage I kit vs. M62...

So Peter, are you saying that to get to 250 whp, one would need to get the M62 plus the Cosworth kit?

No I didn't say that, but try getting 250whp with M45/head combo.
The bottom line is, no one knows the power levels possible with the M62
in any combinations of tune. Adding a Cosworth head, header etc. will
make it possible to reach power levels not previously possible .
(please don't get pissed of if you own a Turbo, as I know you can generate more hp then with a SC).

Well, this is why I am a bit on the fence about the M62...

What I am trying to achieve is something in the territory of 200 whp with no compromises in drivability (e.g. no peakiness in output (otherwise known as maximizing the area under the hp & torque lines); absence of pinging (and resulting timing retard) on 91 octane gas; no noise penalties - ideally analogous to taking the JCW package results and moving the hp and torque graphs upward about 30%). The question is whether the M62 kit would accomplish that objective with no need for sorting out; or, will the Stage I Cosworth kit accomplish that objective as it sits on your shelf today.

Give them another couple weeks I'm sure they will have lots more solid data, pricing and timelines for availability.

I am interested, but first I need to buy a MCS so give me a year or too, but dont count me out, slowly but surely I'll place an order. A Cosi car with a M62 is right next to a Exige on my list of sick cars

Interested! Put me down for M62, Software, Possibly Pulley, and a Injectors. Will you guys be offering a head (Cosworth...)?

I'd be interested in a package deal if one is available,

At the very least:
M62 Kit
Injectors
A new Head
Software

Not sure about the pulley, that depends on the numbers generated with the stock offering. I'd like to keep the power within reliable limits . I'd also possibly be interested in a few other items, in addition to Installation.

why isn't anyone punchin' out the bores? or are the slugs too big now to allow for bigger sleeves? seems like the old tried and true displacement bump would be a way to go .

I'm interested, but probably won't be an early adopter. Can it be shipped in plain cardboard boxes and billed as an 'air filter'?

Hi Peter,

Wow! Another great product brought together from a few very talented people.

I will take one in January. I think by then all the bugs will be worked out and it should be amazing. I for one plan on between $3000 and $4000. As long as I can do it myself and won't have a $500 to $800 install charge I'm in for sure.

Peter? PM or call me about your cables.

Same issue I believe, not enough material in the block sides to make space for the greater throw.

But that is why we have a s/c...

Boring and stroking are attempts to increase the volume of air flowed through the engine. The M62 supercharger is another approach to accomplish the same objective. And, I think that the ~$3,500 price point for the M62 kit is lower than a bored and stroked engine kit (if it could be done) would come in at.
