That'd be one way to see where the oil ends up from the valve cover vent.

You guys are really aiming low This is a lucid dream and I want M7 to come up with transparent metal like the windows in Star Trek Then having them replace all the glass on the Mini with this material would save the world...d@mn it:impatient

If they did make a translucent metal one, you know someone would want to chrome it or ask if they can get one with a ceramic coating!

i'm being serious! Clear boots would make it look like the intercooler was suspended in midair And as obehave said, you could see oil!

Randy, I am very interested and will take any color but BLUE would be my preference.

MSFITOY's Alta Silicon boot suggestion worked.

Thanks, Sid!

They were a bear to get on vs. the MINI boots.

There is still the smallest little area than is obscured, but if I could feel that, I need to see if McLaren needs another driver.

MAN! I just love my dremel.

Popped off the diverter and shaved both posts. Actually not much but shaved more from the back (nearest IC) than the front and therefore changed the angle a bit. Now the bottom of the diverter lines up with the bottom of the IC.

Peter was right it is a very small tweak.
