>>Quaife? What's the status of a nice Quaife install kit (one that could be handed over to a mechanic that hasn't done one before, but works on rally cars)?
>>
>>Thanks!

I managed to install mine with only a little help from a mechanic. (Mainly getting the transmission in and out of the car.)
No reason why they shouldn't be able to do it now just its going to cost some since its takes some time with all the work involved.

Randy, Have you seen the H-Sport camber plates? I was wondering if they had finalized the design on the plates yet? If I remember correctly they also have a stress bar that works in conjuction with their plates.
Thanks, Rich

in this context, "adiabatic efficiency" means the energy transferred between input and output by compressing the charge is not thermal. If the output got hot, it would be adiabatically less efficient.

jlm hit adiabatic efficiency on the nose.

The H-Sport camber plates will be here soon for eval as well, along with the rear control arms.

CFM rates - not yet.

Scanner - not yet, but I'll try to take some digital pics of the different plots and post them next week.

I've been waiting to get a throttle body on a stock S to give some comparison numbers, but on the pulley/header/cat-back/intake combo, it made 5.3 hp. I didn't do a lot of runs to verify consistency though, so I've been hesitant to post that number. I'll be doing some more dyno testing tomorrow on the $750 header, so I'll check out the throttle body numbers again and try to do multiple before and after runs so I can give you more solid info.

Quaife is still requiring some machining to fit, so until they work that out, I'll wait.

I do have some aluminum flywheels and clutch packages coming too.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Randy

5.3HP at the wheels in addition to all the other mods sounds VERY promising!
