Finally worked things out with my dealer and it looks like I'm getting the following in trade for a bunch of graphic design work (that I've already done.) They've ordered the parts and should install next week.

Pulley (3-piece)
Madness intake
Borla Exhaust
Springs

R90 wheels
Driving lights

Just had to tell somebody.

I love my dealer. Crown MINI of Richmond (VA).

JR

Wow, it'll be like a different car when you get it back. I love the wheels, too. Something about those R90's with stripes and driving lights really pushes my buttons, and it looks so good on Indi Blue. I'm getting a similar setup in Chili Red.

Are they going to mount your existing runflat tires onto the R90's? I've asked if that was possible and haven't gotten a good definitive answer.

See ya,
JS

I'm curious...did the dealer mention any warranty-related issues to you?

Woohoo! Congrats!

Let us know what you think!

mn_angrybeats,

I think you may be a little disappointed at the dyno. With those mods, you should see around 205 at the flywheel. I'll be very interested in your results - keep us posted .

The R90s they have in the showroom have tires on them already. I've been assuming they're compatible with runflats. Guess I better double check. My dealer says my warranty will remain intact. Good enough for me. That's not to say that all other dealers feel the same way. DON'T ASSUME YOUR DEALER WILL DO THE SAME. They may or may not. Also, the shop manager said the pulley is not the three-piece, but is from Mini Mania. I thought the 3-piece was replacing the one-piece in their inventory? Oh, well.

Can't wait to get it back. I'll definitely have to take a few passes on the dyno afterwards. Will forward the results. JR

Remember that he has the Hartge conversion, and they raise the rev limit (to ??)

The Hartge conversion is not just a pulley change they map the ecu allowing a greater rev limit 7400 I think and also modified the supercharger housing. It is TUV rated at 200hp and must produce 200hp a 20 degrees c I think however they have seen more on the dyno, 210-215hp.

My car is already faster than the JCW which has 200hp, mainly I think due to the power delivery which over 6k rpm is manic.

The Miltek Manifold & Sports Cat should be good for around 8-10hp according to AmD and the Cat back exhaust a few more.

I will post the results mind you and I expect to get far greater than 205hp.

Have you tested a Harge converted car and a manifold/header then Randy?

Yep, and with the throttle body, software, and Rogue intake (which fares slightly better than the K&N), I only have 210ish - and that's using the Magnaflow. Other than increasing the redline, the software yields have yet to be impressive so far. That's one of the reasons I'll be interested in hearing mn_angrybeat's results.
