Drivetrain a sunday drive
Ahh what a day. Sunday driving never meant anything to me before aquiring a MCS. Here is how it went. It started off with a siren and ended with a spit. I was going going over to my brothers house and decided to take a different road(dont think i need to explain why) and a cop passed me going the other direction, I had a sigh of relief because if the road was what i was hoping for i would have been going a lot faster, instead i was just starting to accelerate and not going very fast. But as i looked behind me i noticed the cop turning around. Why I asked was he doing this? Did he just want to get a better look at the car? That was a nice thought. Then those wonderful blinking lights came on. UGH! I pulled over and he told me i was going 40 in a 25. I told him its not a road i travel on very much and he let me go with a warning. Whew! Then I pulled to the next stop sign ahead and here comes another MCS. MY FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH ANOTHER MCS or MC driver. COOL. He gave me the flashing of the lights, it felt so good. Sounds corny but im sure some of you understand where im coming from. Then after leaving my brother's house i noticed someone SPIT ON MY CAR! Are you %*#% kidding me? I saw a kid on a bike while in the house so i think it was him. Who does that? Anyway upon driving home i saw another MCS parked at MCCobbs (a great chili dog place) I couldn't believe it. What a day huh. I just got passed the 1250 mile break in period and now i have a nervous foot. Well thanks for listening. Maybe one of the mcs drivers are members on here. I live in NJ.

>>yup that was me, approximately 1 minute after being pulled over. Nice MCS you have. Thought you might be a member.
i was in the process of being lost (bad Rt. 202 signs)
circled around to get my bearings and then the copper (not cooper) followed me

Is there a worse feeling? All of a sudden you become a model driver - speed limit, centered between the lines, etc. And usually for nought.
My anecdote about route 202:
I went to college in New Jersey (Princeton). New Years Eve 97/98 a group of my friends and I made base camp in my dorm room and took the train into NYC to witness the craziness. The day that we drove back to Litchfield, Connecticut (which Route 202 also goes straight through) was the day that McDonald's introduced their new crispier fries, and they had a special for that day where anyone could walk in and get a small order of fries free, with no purchase required. So, we decided to head home on 202 and stop at every McDonald's we came to. At each one, we went in, each got the order of fries (there were four of us), dumped them all out on a tray with some ketchup, devoured them, and got back in the car. I think we hit 8 or 9 restaurants and were somewhere near the Hudson before it got to be 9 PM and they started closing. I don't think I ate those fries for about six months after that.
