And this would be the example of why Tuls is leaving NAM. It's not BS at all but you go right ahead and keep beleiving that if you want to, just keep your bad attitude out of good things. There were many times on these forums people jumped on stuff without proof and Tuls has ALWAYS offered proof for the things he has done. That's why he is an inspiration and so many people are willing to take his word for it, it has nothing to do with being gullible it has to do with spirit. Congrats on sleeping with Jessica Alba.

well it happens, unfortunately a few bad apples spoil the bunch. No worries. It is nice to see how many people have faith in what he's doing, I'm sure it makes him feel good. Unfortunately there are many reasons for his exit.

But hey, for all the non beleivers out there I challange you to do more! If you're not a beleiver, then that's just a good excuse to try and surpass it right?! Same goes for the beleivers, now you have something to look forward to shall you decide to take that path

I'm pretty sure he has put it back to 400WHP but don't quote me on that, I was sleeping when I got the news last night It's really just to see what can be done and to push the limits.

Well, out of the many many posts in this thread, I think planeguy's post has been the first negative. IMO, that's a pretty good percentage of praise. One bad and rude comment shouldn't shatter all of the positives. Don't give this negative guy any attention what so ever, just like the Dog Whisperer has said .

With that said, GOOD JOB TULS!!!! Amazing stuff, and as posted earlier, "This is beyond Holy Crap!!" I'm feeling pretty lame with my stock 170 now.

I think that would be a hell of an idea. I was at that event and thought the same as you. I do not know what they were thinking . I was hoping for much more when I first saw a Mini there and then realized it was pretty much a stock car. Apparently the hired gun thought so as well as he mentioned that it handled like " stock " . Minis are good no doubt but that was quite a loaded field. Lets see what a set up Mini would do in that crowd!

 

hmmm how stock do you think that blue MINI was? Tuls is good friends with our entire board (the one that entered that MINI). It's rather far from stock...he just didnt pay a ton of attention to the engine work since it was a touge related event. He focused more on handling.

chances are, trying to put down 600 hp all the way around a track in a MINI would spell many problems, specifically traction

 

Planeguy, you've been on NAM long enough to know , if Chris says he made 593.5hp, then absolutely 100% he did!

Look how many other tuners out there have responded in this thread, guys with well over 300 and 400hp, and none of them are questioning the results.

Amazing... Tuls has been a great source of information on here. He has put forth much energy, time and money and his previous mods have been well accepted and proven.
So why should he try and fool us now? I give him the benefit of the doubt.. He earned at least that... To come along and just call it BS... is ignorant at best.
Hope we hear back from him on this... would like to hear the details...
