How much difference do you notice between the new and old? Does the ten pounds really equate to handling changes?

That's 40lbs at the wheels... I can imagine a slight difference... but really... did you get them sponsored? If so, that says more than anything.......

SMG,

are you getting a rubbing with this new set up?
i'm currently running 18" with 43mm offset.
i'm also thinking about selling these 18" for some 17" GT-N's and i only had them for one week.

also, who did you get your 8000K hid's from?

Holy Moly! Those things are so bad! Good choice! I'm usually very partial to black wheels, but those are stunning. I'm seriously psyched for you! They look great!

Damn, that looks SWEET! Personally, I would've preferred the silver CE28n's, but the bronzes still look very nice! I really liked it when I found out the Mini comes in a lug pattern that's most common on japanese cars...there's so many nice wheels in the japanese market.

The new wheels absolutley rock.
They totally eclipse the old ones.
Not even close, excellent choice.

no rubbing issue at all......these are 7.5 inch 43 offset and my old ones are 8 inch 43 offset

turn in & off the line (low end) improved & less tram lining ...

was shocked so many of you preferred these over the hamanns.....umm.....

Is it just me or does the Mini look very small in the second pic. But hey the rims work really well with your car color!!

thanks for the reply SMG.

i guess i'll sell the 18" FN-01RC that i have and upgrade to 17" forged Volks.

this set of rims looks way better than the last set, no doubt.
