JCW - 210 + GIAC Software

I currently own an 06 MCS JCW and wasn't too impressed with the programming - it didn't feel much different than a lightly mod'd '05 MCS with 15 percent pulley, JCW CAI and GAIC software. While the JCW kit does do quite a bit to the car as far as performance - it still feels like something is not quite right with the programming.

Just flashed today at Helix - I asked Eric if there was a noticable difference compared to the stock program for the JCW - he said... "out of all the upgrades that GIAC does, this one is the most effective" Eric explained to me out of all the programs out there for the MINI the stock JCW program runs the most rich - so obviously a lot of room for tuning.

The flash was done quickly - when finished - I can honestly say my butt dyno reports that my car responds like someone dumped a case of Red Bull in the tank!

1. Throttle response is much much snappier

2. RPM's speed up the range more quickly

3. Butt dyno reports a bit more of low-end torque

4. Haven't dyno'd it yet but will soon so I can give numbers.

I'm going to go out for a run this morning - I'll report back with some more impressions - I'll be comparing with WagnBat's MINI. :-)
