Anyone ever heard of Auto Logic? My friend owns a Performance and Repair shop and just bought a new machine from Auto Logic that flashes ECU's. Along with the re-flashes after repair work is done, they also provide upgraded software. Supposedly, they download information from the ECU in my car and send it to a company that considers the existing information and my mods and then re-writes a new program for my ECU that will give me 30 whp. I am sure you are as skeptical as I am. MTH, Unichip, and all the others don't get near 30 whp. Let me know if anyone has heard of it or if it is even possible with my current mods. Thanks.

 

How can they create a map for your car without having your car to test and tune on? Doesn't make sense to me. Or does he have an extensive database of cars with the different mods in various configuration so he knows that he won't advance your timing too much, or run your A/F too lean, etc, etc.

 

Just an assumption, but at one point they must have had a car to tune in person and adjust for all the different mods and conditions. I put a call in to a sales person at Auto Logic so I will see what they have to say.
