Looks like I'm going to do this myself, with the help of a very knowledgeable friend. I'd say anyone who can transplant a G60 engine into a 1977 Rabbit can handle this.

So now I'm wondering where one might get the pulley puller. I know jlm makes one. Are there others making these? Can we setup a "share the pulley puller society"?

I believe you can get Randy's with a $500 deposit, or so it says on hiw website...I'm sure he'll chime in.

 

they are $200. some high rollers might want to set up a joint buy and rent it out??

 

If your close with your dealer like i am you should be able to browrow there's, just remember to take it back
