Intake systems??? Help

Hey, I'm a nooby, I am looking at doing an intake upgrade. I would like an opinion between the Alta Performance Intake system vs the Webb Motorsports high density induction box. I really like the look of the Motorsports but quality and performance is what I am after.

Webb Motorsports

OR

Alta

Thanks...

My opinion would be go for the Webb. Randy knows what he is doing and makes some great products!

I had the Alta before I went with the m7 AGS but only because Randy's intake wasn't on the market when I bought the Alta. Now I love my AGS and wouldn't trade it for anything. (search threads about the m7, it has been discussed at length).

Basically... go Webb!

I have had both installed.
Both are good kits.
I'm running the HDI at the moment.
There are a few used Altas on the market now and you really won't go wrong picking one up cheap. Like mine

Listen to Alta+16% pulley outside of car here:

I happy with the Alta, althought I haven't had a chance to try the WMS intake system yet. Either one is a good bet.

I have had both Alta and WMS as well as the Dinan... I currently have the WMS and I prefer it to the Alta.... It seems to have more torque and slightly more top power but I have not dynoed since the change .... it is quieter and now I can hear my Milltek blended with the SC with the Alta it was drowned out..... The Alta is a good choice as it was the reigning king for a long time........especially if you can find a deal used...... their cover might be a nice addition but I have no experience.....again, I am very happy with the WMS

I'm interetsed in MSFITOY as he has the M7 AGS which he likes a lot......maybe he'll give me a ride.....

I was going to say it but glad Sid said it first!

AGS all the way (that is why I mentioned m7 in the first place) but it ain't for the faint of heart!

SpiderX you can happily take mine for a spin at the Dragon if you want one not so heavily modded for comparison. Maybe if I'm a good boy Sid will let me drive his for 4 or 5 feet....

Sid- Safe drive down... looking forward to the party next week!

I have the Alta CAI and am very satisfied. Have seen the Webb HDI installed on Obe's car... first class. Used Alta would be a good move, if you want new, go with the Webb HDI.
