"Testing: 2 turbo MINI's have been in testing for a long time now, one on the east coast and one on the west coast. Both MINI's have seen extensive track and street use and the east coast MINI runs with no check engine lights and is emissions compliant. The east coast MINI will be competing in the North American MINI series race at Summit Point on June 29th to further emphasize the reliability of our kit."

Webb race sponsor pics

Here's a little thanks to the sponsors who put up some hard earned cash and parts to keep the Webb cars racing...

The MININUT logo was on Brian's rear bumper. Still looking for a pic of it.

My car ran like a champ even though it was about 600-800 lbs heavier than the mule Randy managed to make it interesting.

Check with whiteroofradio.com later in the week because we're doing this again to get Randy and Brian to WV at the end of the month.

Damn, I didn't expect to see my name on the cars. Too cool.

So, how did they do, I've been on the road since last Tuesday, and have not been able to follow. However you did, I hope you had fun, wish I could have been there.

You may have noticed, that that isn't Randy's car. The mule was damaged enough on Saturday that it didn't make the Race. Todd from White Roof Radio stepped in and offered Randy his MINI (that's Todd's MINI in the photos). Also Waylen from Way Motorworks apparently loaned Randy his wheels and tires. So a couple of members of the MINI community definitely did some things to make you proud to be a MINI owner.

Results and more details are here:

Saturday
Sunday

I have no idea how that was handled. I wasn't actually at the event, just relaying what I've read in those posts.

Let's just say there were signed waivers because there was no cage etc. Yes there was an exception made but that's always up to those in charge. Everything turned out fine but the risk was all ours.

It's not like they're were racing for prize money... yet.

We just wanted Randy to race so we found a way. I don't recommend it because I aged a few years in two days but it was a great experience.

Oh, by the way - that was *my car* out there on the line. And all the sponsor names/logos are still on my car.

Having a test ride with Randy after a Pulley Party is one thing...letting Randy DRIVE your car without adult supervision is quite another!!! Sundancekc you are the man!!! Are you married ? or are you still married ? I know that would be a tough sell for those who are.

True MINI spirit .... Thanks again Sundancekc !!

Married and still married. My lovely wife was an easy sell. Before I committed my (our) car I did consult her on the phone and she said go for it. She even came to the track on Sunday and was waaaay less nervous than me.

She's a keeper!
