As an update to all involved. At this point, the sponsorship drive has provided close to half the cost required to do the weekend. We could certainly use more to make the car faster with some tires and pay for fuel, but we can at this point just about commit to running. We will need all of the posters who have generously donated to Save the Mule to email or contact us to provide graphics (and the cash of course). If you don't have any, but know what you want us to put on the car, let me know and I can probably have the graphics guy do that.

THANK YOU for everyone who has made this happen. I certainly want a chance to hit the track with a solid car and run heads up against the other unlimited cars at St. Louis with no failures for anyone.

Randy

Time to pony up

Here's me giving Randy $50 this past Monday for the St. Louis fund. He looks like he didn't want it but when he realized I was serious he snatched it up.

So come on - somebody's got to at least match my $50 and add to the sponsor pool.

Check would be ideal. I will be sending in my check on Monday.

I will PM details where to send the checks to tomorrow. All checks should be made out to Webb Motorsports.

Donation

Well I was fortunate enough to have Randy install his Extreme Sway Bar and H Sport Springs at the final pulley party in the Bay Area yesterday (2nd to last car worked on) he saved a pulley for his final install - great work Randy! I was able to hand over a check for $100 - so you can add that to the totals.

Good Luck in St Louis Randy and Brian!!

Hello all,

If you have not allready, send me an e-mail with what you would like displayed on the car and where you would like it posted. There is a lot of room on the boot and bonnet sections on both cars and a little room left on the sides.

Also, send your checks ASAP to our shop if not otherwise given an address.

Thanks again for your support!

Check was sent electronically, they estimated a 6/7 arrival. Hope that gets there before you leave to cover some of the gas to St Louie!!!

FYI to ALL involved, in case you didnt realise, Webb Motorsports are putting wording on their car regardless of sponsored amount, so even for you nice people that donated as little as 50 bucks, please email Brian ASAP what you what written on the Mule and Brians car! Also, dont forget to send checks in ASAP. THey need the funds to race!

Thanks Brian and Randy for even letting the "little" sponsors do this, you guys rock.

Again, WMS just need the "wording" ASAP, they will take care of the vinyls themselves (which is very generous of them).

Good question.

It's not too late to donate if that is what you are asking.

As to when this particular drive ends, I dont know if I can answer that one correctly. I do know that everyone was asked to have their checks sent in by May 31st, which would give WMS a good chance to race the 2 races in St. Louis, fielding both cars, which would fulfill any sponsorship "obligations". Brian will most likely make the remainder of the series, with the existing sponsor's vinyls, which is a bonus for us. Whether the mule is able to make any races after St. Louis would just be another bonus for us sponsors. We love seeing the mule. In fact, I personally heart the mule from behind.

After that, my guess is it's an open "Feed the Mule" fund, to keep it racing.

I hope that helps!

I am just very greatful to Webb Motorsports for accepting to meet the sponsorship requirements with just HALF of the target amount reached, with them fronting the rest, and doing it just for these generous sponsors/WMS family and the people that love to see the Mule race at least a few more times.
