Any chance of obtaining a Milltek cat-back for the Cooper S convertible in this group buy?

I would think that accomodating some drop-heads (convertables) would be possible. :-)

Where were you guys at Christmas, when Stratmosphere had their 15% off sale? Complete Milltek was $1350.

A simple call to DHL would probably clear this up.

The system takes dimensions in inches.. it says so on the page.
DHL will NOT ship this item by ground. It dimensions are too large! So like I posted before.. It will be $160 shipped by DHL from PA to NC...

I called DHL and they changed their policies as of April 1st. So we need another shipping option.

OK.. I am officially in on this deal. I just need a shipping quote as the DHL method posted above won't work for the package size, yes I called DHL to confirm.

Please add me to your list, I sent you a PM and received a note from Eric at Helix about payment.

Thanks!

Can Helix possibly ground it to me FedEx or UPS?

They will ground ship via DHL, the rates are about the same as FedEx or UPS.

Depending on where you are in Jersey, you may want to have Eric do the install, it's only one hour of labor.

I just called DHL as well and they said the same thing. They don't offer ground service for the dimensions that we have, making shipping the exhaust significantly over $150.

We need to use another shipping company.

** Shipping estimator is up **

Just go to the Helix website, find the Milltek cat-back and click on the link that says "Shipping estimator" I plugged in my info and it came up with $27.

Milltek Buy!

Hey,
FYI. I hate to rain on your group buy. But why don't you guys just call Greg @ 866-533-1777 and tell him a group of you are wanting to buy Milltek Cat Back Systems for your Mini's? I think he will make you a DEAL! He made me one when I asked him when the next sale was going to happen because I missed the 15% off sale. Our MCS was waiting to be shipped when the sale was over. Sorry, but he asked me not to give out the price he sold it to me for. ( w/ shipping! ) I ended up talking to him for about 15 to 20 mins. about what they do at his shop. He is a great guy! He said he sells about 40 units a mo. for Mini's (their best seller).

Best of Luck to you All!!

Thanks a lot for the reassurance. There do seem to be a lot of group buys around, not too worried about it.

/me stops fugging up the thread.

No problem! It's easy to get antsy and see group buys go by while you're waiting for your MINI to arrive.

But just keep in mind that it doesn't require you to have a MBA to realize that vendors want to do business with us. If you haven't seen it already, you'll soon find out that MINI vendors (particularly NAM sponsors) are some of the most amiable and cool guys out there, since most of them are MINI enthusiasts themselves.
