I swear I saw a thread just like this about a week ago. I think it came down to peopke who know him beyond NAM said that he has just been very busy at work recently.

 

I started a thread like this a while back about Andy and jlm...... jlm sold his Mini and bought a Saab..... I think Andy got sick of all the hostilities....... someone said he posts at another Mini site....... I miss him on this forum as well...... I'm glad to see that Ryphile is back...... he left for a while

 

Spiderx: what is that website? i would love to know as i miss the equilibrium between marketing numbers and cold hard facts. you can pm me if you like.

I am very excited about ryephile's new turbo endevour. It looks really clean and more efficient than the twincharger systems.

 

I don't know the website some one pm'd me a while back but forgot it and deleted...... I hope Ryan is going to be at the Dragon.....

I sent an email to Andy last week, and he replied very quickly...

But I haven't seen him posting in here since a little while ??

 

i wish i was in the united states, then i could drive my mini and find out how to build my own mini monster...

 

I'm sick of his facts, and quite frankly, I'm glad he's not posting anymore.

I would like this forum to turn out more like vwvortex where facts are made up all the time, and crazy claims about mods with no facts abound.

It's your opinion, but Andy has always been very helpful to me and he knows his stuff a lot!

 

he's highly opinionated, arrogant, argumentative, sometimes aggressive and can be very obnoxious....... thank God... there are so few of us left.

This is just as upsetting. He is so knowledgable about the MINI. I wonder if the lengthy delay by TOO in putting together his engine made him think in another direction. I can't see a Saab as replacement for the MINI. I'd see an EvO or STI as one though. Maybe his Saab is being turned into a stealth STI?

 

I've had e-mails from Andy, and seen posts on FTR as well as Mini2. Don't know why he's not posting here....
