Hi guys,

I need some help here with the installation of the Spec clutch & UUC flywheel. My car is now in the workshop with everything apart await to put them back togeter.

The mechanic told me that I need the 6 bolts that hold the clutch pressure plate to the flywheel. Which bolts should I use, does the bolts on the standard flywheel work? Or should they be supplied together with the UUC flywheel? :impatient

Please help.

My kit came with new bolts from spec, but the pressure plate bolts should be re-usable if you must. The flywheel bolts are shorter on the lightweight version, if I remember right.

 

Yopu might want to give Steve at Steve's Auto Clinic call. He has had a lot of experience with the UUC lately as a couple have come apart . I am not sure of the details but I know he has replaced 2 recently. His shop number is 818 891 6109.
