I BELIEVE installation should cost less than $300 but superchargedmini should be able to give a more accurate figure.

I'm ALMOST sold on this mod. My MINI has it's 10,000 mile service on Friday which is also the day my Madness intake should arrive from Randy. I'll install it on the first luke-warm day that I have the time. Then I'm going to seriously consider the pulley. Certainly the most bang for the buck and unlike the other mods, it seems to give us what we really want:
MORE POWER ACROSS ALL RPMs and
It moves the torque curve to the left giving us more USABLE POWER in EVERYDAY DRIVING SITUATIONS.

THe ONLY concern is the warranty issue but it pulley shouldn't negatively affect the engine at all. In fact, the JCW MINI has the pulley reduction. However, if you engine was faulty and won't last for whatever reason, having the pulley mod will probably keep MINI from paying for it. Decisions, decisions...
