m7 OCC
There had been a couple threads running around here about installing oil catch cans (OCC) I just got through with mine this morning, so I thought I would post some pics for those interested. This mod was very easy and I hope helpful. The place that I mounted it is the same that Mr. Webb mounts the ones that he installs. Feel free to ask any questions that you may have. -- Johan

Looks sweet. I like that location, makes it look cleaner and like in belongs not like an aftermarket tac-on.
I clicked on the photos, the copyed the url to the pop from click on the box with mountains, so in the furure you could go back and edit or just upload to your gallery, but these should do.

Thanks for fixing my pictures Yes that is a K&N typhoon cold air intake (CAI) One of the main reasons I got it was because they are CARB exempt. Seems to work really well, when I get a chance I'm going to test it and Mr. Webbs on the dyno. We also will be using BiM-COM for data logging. -- Johan

No problem with the sight tube over the exhaust, there's 2 heat shields there. Installing the catch can was easy, just hold it where it needs to be and mark the holes with a paint pen. Then I drilled and installed. The only thing that didn't come with m7's kit was the bolts. Easy fix, made a trip to the hardware store and got some stainless bolts. m7 also mails you a CD with a pic on it on "How to" run the lines. Very easy!
The gauges are from www.speedhut.com you can design any thing you want and they will print it on what ever gauge you want. Very cool company and ship really quick! I fabricated the pod out of 1/8 flat stock aluminum. Then I used roll pins with spacers to get my off-set. I wish I had access to a mill it would of been much quicker!
The most boost I have run was around 18psi. (with 19%, not sure about stock) Usually it's hangs out around 15-16 Like I said before its hard to look at the gauge when I'm hitting peak boost, I need to concentrate on where I’m going That is in the nice cold air. My DSC light will come on when I over boost but now my SES light comes on too. P0108 see it almost every day. The other gauge is a pyrometer (exhaust gas temp) I will take some more pics today and get them up here!
