Hey Guys-

Just ordered a K&N 1550 Hot Air Intake. I was going to have my friend install it with me, as it is on his MCS, but he is leaving for Australia and, of course, I get the "Out of stock 5 more days notice." Are there any forums that have pictures on how to do the installation, and/or is there anyone that has done it and has photos to share. Looks like I am on my own to do it, and I don't wanna mess anything up. All help is greatly appreciated.

Step 1 - 2 of Randy Webb's DIY manual for intake installation above.

and the Filter you have should be pretty straightforward, just clamp it to the throttle body. There's a tube that goes from the engine into the intake tube that you'll have to either let it vent into the engine or cut a hole in the base of the filter, put an elbow in it, and plug in the tube. Hope that helps. If not, the first link I provided you should have the installation procedure. I've never worked on cars and I was able to figure it out.
