Drivetrain How to tell the difference between a JCW supercharger and a regular S supercharger?
But those that haven't followed the saga of Team Craptastic...

The regular MCS supercharger takes 1.8 turns of the pulley to get one complete rotation of the water pump drive. A JCW supercharger boxed at the factory on 3-18-05 takes 1.8 turns of the pulley to get one complete rotation of the water pump drive.

Good stuff.
Thanks for the info. So, it appears that, once and for all, the "JCW supercharger" is nothing more than a regular MCS supercharger with a somewhat-smaller pulley and the rotor coating from the current MCS.
