I think this thread needs a bump. Good thread to help people make decisions.

19%. No problems. 2 and a half years and 40,000 miles. One routine belt change.

Hi Folks

How about we have the same thing but for CRANK pulleys. I feel that the crank pullies are more of a question mark as opposed to 15/16/17/19 pullies.

Cheers.

Do it. I'd be very interested to see how many miles some people have on their crank pullies.

15%, Mini Mania (Alta ???), 26 months, self installed, no problems

I would like crank info as well but really think TIME is needed for info, thats when things may get interesting.

Great idea (still think Mileage is more informative than time)

15% Alta for a bit over a year now, absolutely no issues whatsoever on a car that sees some pretty hard daily usage.

I have 1.5 years on a 15% Alta pulley and 3 months on a 2% Alta crank pulley with no problems. My car is a daily driver run aggressively every chance I get. Still young, but will keep posting if any issues come up. Really, the only issue I have is keeping the wheels from spinning. Sure would be nice to have a LSD.

0% lightweight crank on for 3k miles. I removed it due to car vibrations and the ecu couldn't keep up with the engines revs to know when to shift.

Indeed. Twas an end of the year audit though, and I don't intend to update since it was for last year.

I'll start another at the end of this year though.

I understand the end of the year audit idea. I just hope this thread will make a good reference for folks looks for answers on reliability of supercharger reduction pullies.

We can make you #1 on the 06 list Will.

I don't wanna be #1, I wanna be #222. :P

And I just wanted to make sure people understood the data wasn't still being tabulated, because people continue to post their #s. But if someone else wanted to re-calculate everything with all the new stuff...

Just wanted to mention that I heard an issue with the M7 crank pulley had to do with the anodizing. I'm not sure if that was the issue with latte hiatus. I've had no problem with both the Alta 15% supercharger pulley and 2% crank pulley. I have 17,000 miles on the 15% and 4,000 on the 2%.

15% Alta came loose after 2 months.
It started slipping on the shaft and wore down the shaft and the inside of the pulley. Bought a new 15% Alta pulley and replaced it. 6 months no problem. Used Locktite between the shaft and the pulley aswell.

ran 19% for 2 years. no problems. 20,000k
installed alta crank pulley & new gator belt 2000k ago.
last week had lost of power. pulled over &saw that i hade lost a belt.
i thought no problem as i carry a belt&the tool with me for just incase.
jacked car up &removed finder liner& to my dismay saw all the pulleys were trash. the adiler pulley stop had failed &allowed it to foul it all up. had car towed 200 miles to dealer (ferman in tampa) &found out the super-charger
had locked-up causing the mess. of course no warrantty because of mods.
Pat @ferman (on the side) is fixing.

botton-line: $2300.00 worth it all.

M7 recognized their problem with a batch of bad anodized pullies. They fixed the problem and anyone who got one had it replaced.

major BUMP to this thread...

It has really made me feel comfortable to finally get the 19% pulley (injectors + GIAC) . I'll be setting up an app. with Eric @ Helix soon.
