Cam troubles

I have a cam question. Are there any out there that don't involve trimming the spark plug housings? I know the Ultrik requires this, but does the Schrick too? Are there any others available?

Would be for an S

Hi this is a very well known issue, and very easy to fix.
Take a small hammer, tap lightly on the tubes where the cam lobe hits
untill the cam clears. Don't over do it as the sparkplugs will get stuck.

Good luck

To prevent overdoing it, put your spark plug socket in the tube while hammering it. That way you get enough clearance and know for sure that you can still get the plugs in and out.

Ultrik just copied the schrick cam... look at the cam specs on their website they are exactly the same... But Ultrik claims that you don't have to use the upgraded valve train with their cam... but you have to with the schrick... which we all know is a lie...

anyways... back on topic...

just put your sprark plug wrench in the tube and bang the spark plug tubes until their is suffiecent clearance for the tool and the cam

its really not to hard let us know if you have problems
