These clips are very representative of the sound you will get with each of these exhausts.

I apologize for some of the confusion in the past but in trying to get the clips up in a timely manner the review process might have been lacking. And by the way I do have a day job.

Stock...IMHO opinion sounds ok to me I drove my MCS w/ the stock system 160 miles today on the highways of NY to our BearMt. MINI Meet...and it was...quiet :smile:

Borla...seems raspy ...

QS....nice middle of the road sound....reminds me of my austin healey 3000 w/ a stebro( i think that's how u speeeeel it) exhaust...years back

Magnaflow...throaty ..deep...
for those of you who are musicians...it's kinda like drop "d" tuning a guitar....very bassy/bottomy sound.

That's funny because on the comparison video it comes off just the opposite. The QS sounds tinny or raspy to me, and the clips I've heard of the Borla makes it sound like it would be a deeper version of stock.

I'm a hold-out. I'll decide when I hear them in person! Thanks all for the reports & work you've done.

here are my thoughts :

borla - sounds the best for a light mod mcs, not too loud, not so tinny....pretty good.....good pick if you just wanna hv
intake & exhaust.

qs - too tinny....

mag - sounds powerful......i'll get it if i'm going to make my car at least 200hp......don't wanna attract the crowd just from the sound it makes.....i'll make sure my car has some real hp ....... i've seen some cars with this kinda exhaust note but slow......that's very embarassing.......just my thoughts.
