yea i see the design its like the JCW an Dinan intake ...i dont know about those kind of designs for intakes but i would get an exposed CAI w/out the box around it, cuz its the same as the stock box except the round filter element..

CAI = cold air intake:****i have a photo coming ur way****

That is what they have at Knowledge Performance in Kennesaw GA.

I did 197.7 WHP in July 05 several mods have been added since.

I dyno on one of these. They are an excellent and accurate dyno. Numbers come in much lower then other dynos so don't be discouraged.

I like them because there is no chance for the wheels to slip.......the dyno bolts on.

Hi Joker
Thanks for your kind info.
I am going to get exposed CAI soon.
I do not have to pay for 900$ for airbox in here.
Air box is very expensive.
carbon filer heat shild one looks very nice.

I am thinking to install promini exposed CAI but I am not sure that it will fit because I have tower bar.

Pic is not mine, but I am using exactly same bar.
I might have to buy DINAN or SACLAM.

Unless you're seeking bragging rights or absolute numbers for the sake of knowing, improvement over stock or former state(s) of tune is what matters.

These are a bit old, but seem pertinent. Car was early production 03 with -15% pulley, original ECU version + EVOTech (June 03 map with 7250rpm redline) BMP air intake & Magnaflow exhaust.

I've learned a lot since the testing was carried out - including that it was done incorrectly, with poor airflow. The car was “warmed” for 15min before the first run & had no opportunity to cool between runs (8 total).

The numbers seemed low to me too, but in hindsight they're more believable than what I'd got from Dynojet or Mustang dynos; which in contrast seem wildly optimistic.

I was sure my car wasn't a dog, as it felt strong to me, and anyone who drove it... Including a well-known tuner & my SA. Each said it was the strongest S they'd driven (at that time) including JCW. State of tune has changed since then, but no dyno sheets to post - sorry.
