I've read the threads (a good long read). There are only a couple that recommend brand / car (SRT-4, 1.8T etc.) other than stock. Some involve 3" inlet / outlet. Have most put on the stock cat? I have a castoff early MiniMania that was replaced (throwing codes). I'm going to cut off (replace) the bad cat and join it up to a one ball. Lots of cats out there and need to make a choice.

I re-used my stock cat as well. Originally mated up to a 1-ball exhaust and then I switched to an obx exhaust - retaining the 2.25" tubing.
