well done Franz and Volker.
Thanks Tradiuz for bringing such good news.
any idea what was causing the problem???
I guess you'll have to get either MTH Tuner, or do the VGS mod to get rid of your flat spot!
I had both Yo-Yo and flat spot since I got my car. VGS helped a lot with Yo-Yo, Detroit Tuned by-pass valve also gave a good hand on Yo-Yo too.
I hope the new MTH Tuner file will get rid of my flat spot (2800-4000rpm in my case).
If you want a cheap solution, try VGS.

Don't worry, it doesn't sound stupid at all!
Andy, a well-known member here, has came with a way to reconfigure the vacuum routing to connect the supercharger valve to the fuel pressure regulator and intake manifold. Don't ask me why, but the result is a very good improvment over stock drivability... VGS stands for Vacuum Gain System.
Here's some good reading about it:

edit : Andy was faster than me on that one! btw, thanks Andy for your fast answer to my email!

lol don't worry, VGS only involves mechanical work...The most difficult part is to get the screw into the by=pass valve hose... It requires smalh hands, or a long-nose plier (really long). The other part of the install is very easy. The fuel pressure regulator hose is easy to reach from underneath.
MTH requires a computer and some basic computer skills... You'll need to configure the COM port to communicate with CarTune software. It's very easy to do with all the infos available on this forum.
Removing the by-pass valve is a little more invloving and it requires removing some parts (throttle body, intercooler, i/c manifold,...). Once it's removed, you can either buy a new one from Detroit Tuned, with a stiffer return spring, or adjust you stock one...

wut up guys, the flat spot I was getting seems to have somehow worked itself out, I was unable to get it to happen with every attempt the other day.
The night prior to our drive, I removed and cleaned my IC, wanted to spray all of my electrical connections with silicone spray lube. I also removed the VGS and emptied my catch can. I noticed that my VGS vac hoses were hard as hell too, I'll post about it in the VGS thread to advise others.
have a good one.
