Pulley Installation Costs ??

Hello All!

I will be getting a M7 16% pulley in the near future and will need to have someone install it for me.

What are people paying for pulley installations?
Does anyone have a good source in Southern California?

Thanks - Steve

Pulley Installation cost?

Hi,

We have been organizing Pulley Parties the entire year now. Completed 8 of them 100% no problems in 1.25 hours each, and planning 3 more this year. We DO NOT CHARGE any money if you purchase the parts from our Club Shop - only asking for donations to the Salvation Army and our Club piggy bank to help our cost to organize the "miniQ" Rally scheduled for May 20th 2006, next year. Sorry we are located on Long Island in New York not in Florida - but if you keep in touch via our web site http://www.usminiclub.com you will be able to review our Club Calendar for the Pulley Party schedule and maybe make a trip up here.

email to: host@usminiclub.com with inquiries.

I am thinking about the cost, time, and potential hassle of installing a pulley. Doing it yourself, the parts alone will run $120 for the pulley and $100 for a good puller, plus tax and shipping. I doubt that you will find a rental puller.

I contacted Randy at Webb Motorsports regarding a party install out here in SoCal ……and his reply was “I am thinking it will be the 19 (Nov) or after, and it'll be the LA area. I charge $400 for parts and labor, and that includes our warranty”.

do you have "autozone" parts stores around there? they rent tools-for free, just put a deposit, when you return the tool, deposit is refunded!
