Upside -no heat transfer - inside cool to the touch

Downside-slightly quieter Alta - dang

Very easy mod. Remove upper & lower sections as a unit form insulation inside & out. Tape seams with aluminum tape. pop pack in Go out for pizza!

Actually under the insulation the upper alta section is coated with a gold ceramic rated at 2000 deg.f.
Its a protective coating more than an insulating one. But hey, it hasn't melted.
