Is any body intersested in a cold air intake that cools air to less than ambeint temperatures? I am building an intake that does this. I think I can cool air at least twenty degrees less than ambeint. I am not talking about a race only application. I am talking about an intake that cools the air as long as the motor is running. I have a little fabrication work to do still but am very excited. I will post again when I am finished building.

Interested on how this is possible. Does it use a additional intercooler, a bag of ice or what? I'd like to see Randy review this one. Seems to really know his stuff about intakes (and a lot more).

Is there even room? Kinda silly question since you are doing it. Is this a jimmy rigged system using plastic or rubber, or is it a real metal pipe? Do you have a water filter planned? Hope you dont hit any puddles without one! I figured if there was really any room that the major companies that make the short ones would make a cai if there was room. It'd be sweet to see a cai intake for the mcs from AEM or someone else that saw 10 plus horses like their b series intakes do.

Stopped by Alta Mini Performance the other day. They have a pretty tricked out cold air intake on there show car. They said that it will be available in a couple of weeks to the masses. As explained to me the filter rests in a completly seperated chamber that is constantly fed fresh air. Not just a heat shield. hopefully some one will get some spy photos.
