Drivetrain engine internals
engine internals
Hi!
I owned/modified a honda civic for some time and I was spoiled by how many pictures of the insides of the different drivetrain components were available online, whether it was a forum (honda-tech) or a website.
Some might call it an unhealthy perversion of sorts, but I'd like to see better pictures (any) of engine internals for the MC/MCS. The valvetrain/head was what made my honda a high rev'ing (9000 rpm) screamer, and It is one part/system of the mini that attracts most of my curiousity . I realize that as long as "it works" I really dont need to know about every little nook and cranny engineered into the engines, but I felt more "connected" with my previous car because of firsthand experience and pictures from other enthusiast's engines.
I did come across some pictures of someone who had a shortblock built by Endyn. But aside from that, I havent seen much else. I'm also curious about people building MC engines for all-motor/normally-aspirated power.
So if anyone has pictures/links, anything, they would be greatly appreciated.
happy motoring
