Drivetrain What exhaust should I get to go with these mods?

I have installed a Quicksilver exhaust, which is stainless steel, has a lifetime warranty, and is 20 pounds lighter than the stock unit. Altough I haven't measured it, I'm sure the back pressure is reduced immensely, because the stock unit has a number on convoluted turns, and the Quicksilver is essentially straight back with one small silencer/muffler.
The sound is great, and on road trips it's not the kind of note that drones and makes you crazy. And the tailpipe unit is a large, round plated chrome oval that's really nasty-looking and reminds me of a classic race car I saw some years ago. Makes the twin "beer-can" look pretty cheesy.
I got the unit on a group buy on Mini2 about a year ago. The dealer that offers them in the US is Mini-Madness in Portland, OR.

go with the one that sounds the best... all exhaust on the market pretty much makes the same hp numbers, (i said pretty much), magnaflow and borla race will make slightly better numbers, but i think it was andy who showed a dyno graph with the magnaflow making less than stock below 6k...
go to the exhaust reference sticky in the performance forum.. and listen to all the ones availiable... i'd say just go with the one that sounds the best to you...

I had a Borla street when I had similar mods to yours and it was very nice. I can't say for all the $ I've spent that I have appreciably improved the car from that set up. I now have a Miltek front to back and I think it compliments my current mods so it is a matter of where you want to end up IMHO

just out of curiosity, is everyone happy with their Miltek header? I've heard it has a loss in performance over time due to the cat failing. Are there many occurances of this happening or has it only been a couple cases?
thanks.
thanks.

Second choice would be complete Miltek system with their header.

back to the original question... the one that looks and sounds the best to you. A few will put out a few more ponies than others but if you don't like the look and sound you won't be happy. Your mods shouldn't really play a part in your decision as they won't influence much of a difference.

Can't verify any hp claims on the Milltek just yet, in the next week or so I should be able to. The fit and finish of the Milltek is first class though, no doubt about that. However, in the meantime...

I just checked the Marketplace link for the Quicksilver exhaust, and the price is $480 and only 5,000 miles of usage. That's a good price, IMO. Stainless exhausts are virtually indestructible.
If you're concerned about $, this is a good opportunity.
I have had my QS exhaust for over a year, now, and I have taken many road trips with it, including one from New Orleans to Road America--1060 miles each direction, and the exhaust note was not annoying, yet it really sounds good. And, it saves 20 lbs.
