m7 oil catch can !!!!

can someone help me out? im looking for anyone who has this m7 catch can installed. im looking for some good pictures to see how it was positioned and fixed to your car. thanks rich

and also there are 4 holes witch of 2 are used to screw bracket to the can, depending on location witch of the 4 holes you will use. now i see a problem out of those 4 holes 2 of them are drilled too far in to can witch will cause air leaking or oil to come out of it, whats the deal with that? should they be sealed or not?

You might consider checking with the manufacturer. They should have some installation pictures and suggestions. Good luck...

yea it is accualy in the way a bit, possably you can work around it. but at the worst 2 7/16 nuts is all it takes to get it out the way. and every 10,000 miles and too bad to do it. and the dealer will be doing oil changes for free for 3 years anyway.

Correctomundo. It's *very* easy to get to the oil filter, if I chose to do it myself. The dealership does all my oil changes though.

His is set up similar to mine. I would undo the one ten mm nut, lift the unit out unscrew the drain plug and let it flow. Re install in reverse
